Halee Bernard

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

Halee (she/her) is focused on Threshold's outreach, marketing, and community engagement efforts.

For the last decade, Halee has produced stories for the screen. Her independent work has played at festivals around the globe, including the Sundance Film ​Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, Outfest, the United States of Women Summit, and the Obama White ​House. She has held executive posts at various production companies, where she worked on shows such as Golden Globe winner MR. ​ROBOT (USA), HOMECOMING (Amazon), WECRASHED (Apple), GASLIT (Starz), and JOE ​VS CAROLE (Peacock).

Passionate about the outdoors, Halee is a PADI Rescue Diver, an eXXpedition alumnus, a CAMBP Honey Bee Ambassador, and a certified UC Climate Steward. She is also an advisor for the Sundance Collab, a 1:1 story consultant, and mentor for the PEN America Prison and Justice Writing Program.

Halee was raised in the Texas Hill Country and holds degrees from the American Film Institute and Boston University.
